Nutri-Courses

Summer InstituteWe offer nutrition for the brain. The following is a list of our nutri-courses. Nutri-Courses are not only good for you but they are a tasty treat for your brain.

QUAL 500 Measure & Improve Course Quality

Use a course quality rubric to measure the quality level of your course and develop a continuous improvement plan.

  • Measure the quality level of your course using Coastline’s Academic Quality Rubric or a certified quality rubric such as Quality Matters.

  • Identify course strengths as well as areas for improvement and then develop an action plan for continuous course improvement.

  • Faculty will discuss improvement strategies with their colleagues and share possible resources to help improve course quality.

Participants will receive a “scorecard tool” (Excel file) that can be used to measure a course at the three quality levels: Baseline, Effective, and Exemplary.

During the course, participants will be paired up with a quality buddy. Quality buddies will encourage and support each other as they carry out their continuous improvement plan. If you already have someone you work with or would like to have as your quality buddy, sign up for the same course session.
