I am the Educational Media Designer in the Instructional Design and Faculty Support division of the Business Development and Technology Solutions office at Coastline College. I am also the lead Instructional Designer for an online Physical Geology course (lecture and lab) for Coast Learning Systems. As a member of the Senate Academic Standards Committee, I participated in the development of Coastline’s Academic Quality Rubric. I joined the wonderful Coastline family in 2002 working on the California Virtual Campus project, training and assisting Southern California Community College faculty in the design, development, and delivery of online instruction. I am a part-time faculty member teaching Business Computing courses and have experience teaching courses in various delivery modalities such as classroom, hybrid, and online. Before coming to Coastline, I worked in the military community providing technical training and support as well as working as a Systems Engineer for an aerospace corporation. I hold a Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.
Mark’s background includes over 25 years of management, computer and network administration, web/multimedia development, corporate training, and teaching. He has a BS degree in Information Technology and a Masters Degree in Instructional Design and Technology. He has been with Coastline Community College for over eleven years and presently works in Instructional Design and Faculty Support for the Business Development and Technology Solutions office, teaches in both the Career and Technical Education Department at Coastline and in the Instructional Design & Technology program at California State University, Fullerton.
Meg’s professional background includes working in academia, corporate, and healthcare systems concentrating in adult learning by developing higher education courses delivered both on ground and online. As an Educational Media Specialist her role is to support faculty in building high-quality classes, integrating technology as needed, and assist them in using Seaport. She was recently project lead for developing an online Public Speaking course and the accompanying textbook for Coast Learning Systems; it launched Fall 2012. Meg holds a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Adult Learning Online and Bachelor in Business Administration with an emphasis in Quality Management.
